Sumter County Back-to-School Bash & Supply Distribution
Friday, July 17, 2026, 4:00 to 6:00 PM • Sumter County High School, Americus, GA
Families across Americus picked up free school supplies at this back-to-school bash, sponsored by the Americus Police Department and a group of local partners. The event helped local families start the school year without extra cost. Additional giveaways followed later in July, including a distribution event from the Housing Authority of Americus.
Albany Technical College Community & Alumni Day Car, Truck & Bike Show
Saturday, July 25, 2026, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM • 1704 South Slappey Blvd, Albany, GA
Albany Technical College's Community & Alumni Day brought car, truck and bike enthusiasts from across the region to the main campus for a full day of judged classes, an alumni meet and greet, food trucks and family activities. Admission was free, and vehicles competed across multiple categories for awards.
Ford Albany was proud to sponsor and take part in one of Albany's most established automotive community events.
Ford Americus "On Wednesdays We Wear Pink" Season Finale
Wednesday, July 29, 2026 • Ford Americus, Americus, GA
Ford Americus closed out its weekly "On Wednesdays We Wear Pink" program with an in-store celebration honoring breast cancer survivors currently in treatment and remembering families who have lost loved ones to the disease. The event drew a strong turnout from the community, including the Mayor and Sheriff of Americus and Powerhouse Automotive Group's own leadership.
A weekly program built around a single color became one of the most attended events any of our stores has hosted this year.
